Detailed overview of Samsung’s new offering i.e. Samsung S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra.
Size and Display
Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20+, and Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra feature Dynamic Amoled 2X Infinity-O Display. S20 has a 6.2-inch AMOLED display, S20 + model has a 6.7-inch display whereas S20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch display. All three variants support the 120Hz refresh rate. Same 120Hz panel is provided in all three models. But you can expect a battery drop if using a 120Hz display panel. Although to compensate for the same Samsung has provided an increase in battery size coupled with the 25watt fast charger provided in the box.
Samsung Galaxy S20 has 563 PPI, S20 + has 525 PPI and S20 Ultra has 511 PPI.
As we all know that Samsung Phones have the best display in the market. With the presence of a 120Hz display, the experience of the phone is at another level. The touch sensitivity of all variants is increased to 240Hz to match the touch experience of 120Hz display. And to the very first experience, the display shows amazing results in the initial review.
Weight of Samsung Galaxy S20 is 163g whereas S20+ is only 186g and that of S20 Ultra is 220g.
The volume button is now shifted to the right side of the phone above the power button. The curve can be observed around the buttons. Bixby button is completely removed from the device and that is some great news as that button was never useful to many users.
Samsung’s latest offering is powered by the latest hardware chip currently available in the market. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and for the Indian market, it is powered by Samsung own Exynos 990.
Camera and Video
The regular Samsung Galaxy S20 has a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2, 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with f/1.8 and a 64-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 telephoto lens. It also offers a 3x Hybrid optic zoom and a 30x digital zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S20+, on the other hand, packs an additional DepthVision sensor along with the camera sensor mentioned above. It also offers a 3x Hybrid optic zoom and a 30x Digital Zoom.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra has a quad rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel wide-angle sensor with phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) and OIS and f/1.8 lens, a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor with an f/3.5 lens, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a DepthVision camera. It also has a 10x Hybrid optic zoom and a 100x Digital Zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20+ carry a 10-megapixel selfie camera whereas the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with a 40-megapixel selfie camera.
One of the most talked features of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is the ability to shoot an 8K video on the smartphone. Each variant is capable of 8K video shooting.
Storage and Color
Samsung Galaxy S20 comes in three color variants( Cosmis Gray, Cloud Pink, and Cloud Blue). The base model has 8GB RAM and 128GB Storage.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra comes in Cosmis gray color and has 12GB RAM and 128GB Storage. It is also available in the 16GB RAM variant coupled with a 512GB storage.
The storage of all models is UFS3.0 type means read/write operations will be very fast as compared to UFS2.0. Storage of all the models can be increased with the presence of a Hybrid slot. Memory can be extended up to 1TB by the use of an external memory card.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 series is powered by the in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Although the speed of the sensor is not as fast as physical fingerprint readers. But it can be improved over the software update. It also supports face unlock. Face unlock works fine and can be used for more security.
Connectivity and Battery
Samsung S20 series offer 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS/NFC and USB Type-C. Only S20 Ultra support 5G
S20 offers 4000mah battery, S20+ offers 4500mah battery whereas S20 Ultra offers 5000mah battery.
Samsung has provided 25Watt Fast Charger inside the box. It also supports wireless charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra model are powered by Android 10 along with Samsung One UI 2.0
The Samsung latest One UI2.0 is a great improvement over the previous version of the skins provided by Samsung. This version is pretty snappy and is very good in terms of looks and performance.

Samsung Galaxy S20 is priced at 66999, while the Samsung Galaxy S20+ is priced at 73999 whereas Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is priced at 92999. Samsung is currently pre-booking offers on all the devices. Under the current pre-booking offer, Samsung is providing Samsung buds+ at 2999 for Samsung Galaxy S20 booking. In contrast to the above, Samsung is offering Galaxy buds+ in 1999 for Samsung Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra Variant.
